スティーブ・ウィンウィッドはソロアルバムも、トラフィックも、えらく短期だったブラインド・フェースも好きでした。
本当に音楽好きの少年がそのまま成長した男（？）って感じで、実に好ましく感じるのと唄い方が好きなのです。
ブラインド・フェースではジンジャー・ベーカーがお邪魔虫の感じがしました。
クリームのあの3人のせめぎ合いのライブなら許せるけど、スティーブが入った、新グループで、あんなに延々とドラムソロをやるなんて、勘違いもはなはなだしい。
・・・ってもう30年以上前の話だからいいか・・・

唄い方は違うし、声量はウィンウッドの方がはるかに良いと思うのですが、やはり自分の好きなアル・クーパーと声質が似ている様な気がします。
アル・クーパーもアルバムで「ディア・ミスター・ファンタジー」を取り上げているので近いものを感じていたのではないのかなと思います。
ウィンウッドは楽器はギターもやるけど本職はキーボードだと思うので、その点もアル・クーパーと共通点というところなのかしら。
ちなみに、ブラッド・スェット＆ティアーズはアル・クーパーが抜けた後、興味がなくなりました。
ウィンウッドはブラインド・フェース後もクラプトンとは時々一緒にやっているようで、二人でやってるマディソン・スクエア・ガーデンの2枚組はこのビデオに似た感じのCDでお気に入りです。
