Vivian Grenn を最近聴いてないなと思い、YuoTubeで検索すると、2枚の新しいCD、″Beautiful”と″The Grenn Room”がありました。
即、AMAZONで購入してしまいました。
彼女の唄はソウルっぽくない、しっとり歌い上げる感じと、どことなく甘えたような唄方がこのみで、ちょっと他のソウル系の女性と、好きになるポイントが違う感じがします。
その中でも、The Green Roomに収録されているこの”Still Here”が気に入りました。
彼女は自作自演派なのですが、この歌の曲はBrian Culbertson の曲に彼女が詩をつけたもので、ピアノの演奏も、Culbertsonの様です。
珍しくライブ演奏もありました。観客が勝手に撮ったみたいで、残念ながら、音が完全にOFF状態で今一です。
今まで、ライブがあると大抵削除されて気いますので、この動画も命は長くないかもしれません。
上は同じ曲なのですが、彼女自身のピアノによる演奏なのかと・・・
