昔のヒット曲をYou Tubeで探していて、ぶち当たった、ディランの唄にしびれてしまいました。
ここは当然アニマルズだろうと言う感じですが、最近聴くと余り感動がありません。ドアーズ版も有りましたが、アニマルズと同じ。ビートルズがおふざけでやっているバージョンもありましたが・・・
ウッディ・ガスリー、レッドベリーと、もっと古いバージョンがオリジナルに近いのだと思います。
双方とも民謡と言う感じで、これはこれなりに素朴でいいのですが、ディランの取り上げ方が最高だと思います。前に書いたように、貼りつける傍から削除されるのですが、ここはもう一度トライします。
これはアコースティック版ですが、エレクトリック版も有りました。まあ、ここは自分の趣味でこちらを・・・
替わりに貼りつけた、オデッタとジョーン・バエズですが実はジョーン・バエズ版はお気に入りになっています。
ディランの歌でけされていない物もありますが・・・
